Southeastern Regional Treatment Home
The Southeastern Regional Transitional Treatment Home (s) provides assessment and treatment for a time period ranging from six months to two years for adults with a developmental disability and severe challenging behaviour.
Admission & Features
People referred for treatment must have an ongoing commitment from their lead agency/caregivers to participate in the treatment process and to implement team recommendations both during the treatment process and upon discharge, have agency and family commitment for the person to return home, be medically stable, and have a case manager.
Video surveillance, qualified staff on duty 24 hours a day. Access to an interdisciplinary team of professionals including physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical dieticians, registered nurses, and occupational/physiotherapists.
