Nutritional Services
Ongwanada’s Registered Dietitian assesses and develops goals and interventions individualized to each person supported by Ongwanada by creating and monitoring nutrition care plans for optimal health. Areas of focus for Registered Dietitian services include, but are not limited to, nutrition and hydration requirements, weight-related concerns, dietary management of chronic diseases, chewing and swallowing difficulties, supplementation and enteral feeding support. Guidance on menu planning, feeding techniques, and food preparation is also offered to people supported as well as their caregivers.
