POSITION:

The part-time Marketing/Operations Assistant will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our communications and operations team, aiding and supporting the functions of both divisions. This opportunity suits individuals passionate about marketing, creativity, and seeking invaluable operations experience within a dynamic work environment. The role may also involve data entry, data analysis, reporting, briefing note, presentations etc. as required. 

Ongwanada offers pay in-lieu of benefits for casual and part-time employees.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring marketing campaigns across diverse channels, encompassing social media, website management, email marketing, and content creation;
  • Contribute to the development of compelling content for social media platforms, websites, and other marketing collateral;
  • Support in AGM and annual report production including client stories and storytelling;
  • Offer general administrative assistance to the communications team and Senior Director of Operations, as necessary;
  • Conduct data collection and perform data entry and analysis as required;
  • Support and assist in data-driven decision making in marketing and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Successful completion of post-secondary Media/Communications diploma or equivalent education and experience is desired;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational abilities;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Basic comprehension of social media platforms and digital marketing principles;
  • Eagerness to learn and tackle new challenges. and willingness to work in a team;
  • Prior experience in marketing/operations or a related field is advantageous but not obligatory.
