Adult Protective Service

Based in Napanee, the Adult Protective Services program supports individuals with developmental disabilities who are living on their own, to live as independently and safely as possible in the community. The program supports and advocates for the rights of individuals to access community services as required.

Area served: Southern Lennox & Addington County.

Office location: 113 Richmond Blvd, Unit 10, P.O. Box 122, Napanee, On. K7R 3M3.

Eligibility: Open to adults (18 and older) who have a developmental disability and wish to live as independently as possible in the community.

Referrals: All referrals are through Developmental Services Ontario( DSO) who will determine eligibility and complete an assessment prior to a referral to a developmental service agency. DSO will accept referrals from the individual, a family member, professional, or agency worker.

Waiting period: Variable.
